Hi, I'm Patrick.
I'm not a factory.
I'm not a production line.
I'm just one snack maker who genuinely enjoys creating recipes worth sharing.
Kingston is simply the name I put on those recipes.
Why Kingston Changed
For years, Kingston kept growing.
More flavors.
More products.
More orders.
From the outside, it looked like success.
But somewhere along the way, I realized I was spending more time trying to keep up than I was enjoying the part I loved most—creating.
So I stepped back.
Today Kingston is intentionally smaller.
Fewer recipes.
Smaller batches.
More time spent getting every recipe exactly the way I want it.
Ironically, that's made Kingston feel more like Kingston than ever before.
Every Recipe Starts the Same Way
Not with a machine.
Not with a production schedule.
With a recipe.
A mixing bowl.
A handful of ingredients I've spent years refining.
Sometimes it's an old favorite.
Sometimes it's something I've been experimenting with for weeks.
Every batch is mixed, seasoned, and packaged by hand.
Sometimes I make ten pounds.
Sometimes I make one.
The recipe decides—not a calendar.
Why Some Flavors Disappear
People sometimes ask why certain recipes aren't always available.
The answer is simple.
I don't believe every recipe needs to be made every week.
Some recipes become Signature Collection favorites because I find myself making them again and again.
Others only show up when inspiration strikes—or when a retailer asks for them.
Sometimes there are a few extra half-pound containers left after those wholesale batches.
Those extras end up on the website.
When they're gone...
I move on to whatever I'm making next.
I think that's part of the fun.
More Than Pretzels
Kingston has never really been about pretzels.
It's about creating recipes that people remember.
Recipes someone brings to a backyard barbecue.
A fishing trip.
A football game.
Or leaves out on the kitchen counter until the bag somehow disappears.
Those moments matter to me.
Because good food has always been about bringing people together.
Thanks For Supporting Small
When you place an order, you're supporting one person doing something he genuinely enjoys.
You're allowing me to keep experimenting.
Keep refining recipes.
Keep making snacks the old-fashioned way—one small batch at a time.
Whether this is your first order...
Or you've been with Kingston since the beginning...
Thank you.
I'm glad you stopped by.
